Conclusion of the PEPP Programme (Programme in European Private Law for Postgraduates) 2025/2026

The PEPP programme is held every year at four different locations of selected partner universities, within which doctoral students from various EU countries meet and deepen their knowledge in the field of European private law.

In the academic year 2025/2026, the programme was organised by Faculty of Law University of Münster, Faculty of Law University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law University of Cambridge, and Faculty of Law University of Valencia. The programme included intensive courses, and all participants also delivered several oral reports, presented their doctoral research topics, and actively took part in an ECJ moot competition.

On behalf of the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor, the programme was attended by asist. Matej Makoter Rožmarin, who presented the topic of his doctoral research entitled "Cross Border Enforcement Of Authentic Instruments", and asist. Nikola Jovanović, who presented his research on "The study and synthesis of the justifications of copyright law in technological changes".

The PEPP programme provided an excellent opportunity for academic exchange, networking, and further strengthening cooperation between young researchers and partner universities in the field of European private law.
