Round table on the 70th anniversary of the Court of Justice of the EU

On Thursday, 22 December 2022, the Faculty of Law hosted a round table marking the 70th anniversary of the Court of Justice of the EU entitled The role of the Court of Justice of the EU in preserving the rule of law. After the opening remarks by the Dean, the discussion featured Slovenian judges at the Court of Justice of the EU, Dr. Marko Ilešič from the Court and Dr. Maja Brkan and Dr. Damjan Kukovec from the General Court of the EU, Professor Dr. Janja Hojnik and Mag. Igor Strnad, judge at the Higher Court in Maribor, presented their views on this topic. The round table was chaired by Dr. Petra Weingerl.
