We celebrated the 20th anniversary of Slovenia's EU membership at the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor

On Friday, May 24 2024, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Slovenia's EU membership with a round table. The attendees were welcomed by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Tomaž Keresteš, followed by an interesting discussion on the challenges that await the EU in the future, as well as a retrospective look at Slovenia's EU membership over the past two decades. The guests of the round table were Slovenian judges at the CJEU: Dr. Marko Ilešič, Dr. Maja Brkan, and Dr. Damjan Kukovec. The roundtable was chaired by Associate Prof. Dr. Petra Weingerl, with members of the Chair of European and International Law participating as discussants.
