Conference Law and Economics was for first organized at the Maribor Faculty of Law in 2008 and has since then been held every year on the first Friday in December. Its target audiences are lawyers and economists, and its focus is a discussion of legal and economic aspects of relevant topics. The goal of the conference is to develop a common forum of lawyers and economists and to facilitate an exchange of ideas between experts in both areas.
