Impressions of International students

I decided to take Erasmus in Maribor because of similarities between my faculty and this faculty, and because of language. I I did not regret. This was one of best productive months in my life. The Administrative part is very good and it is always available for you, which was a little bit strange in the law world. The people are nice and kind, if you need something you can ask and you will get your answer really quickly. The lectures are good and productive, and professors are professional and kind, especially professor from Labour law. The only think I am so satisfied are the seminars, which I think that they are not so important for us like the lectures and some other details of subjects. I improve my vocabulary at your faculty and I am very grateful for everything. Hope to see you soon.

My stay in Maribor judge very well. A lot has happened, I met great people and survived the great adventure. I had a little trouble with the language but a lot of jumped my level, so I'm happy. The only thing that depresses me is the fact that some of the items turned out to be harder than I thought. I hope that all the credit, because otherwise I have no reason to return to your country.

I want to say that I will bring something special back at the end of my Erasmus. I totally felt sLOVEnia and I am really happy for my choice to make my Erasmus studies here in Maribor, not in Netherlands or France, as I was thinking. Beside the fact, that it is really hard to describe all my experiences, adventures and all stereotypes I broke here, I want to mention that from study part I got even more than expected! The Faculty of Law, where I was hosted, met my, with amazing aura and spectacular architecture. More, my faculty gave me the additional ability to learn German language with amazing professor Helga Oberloskamp and improve myself. Also, here was a lot of abilities to attend open and free lectures and seminars like with Mr. Ron Cordova, a seasoned lawyer from California, USA.

In fact, I could say that on Erasmus I was in real pleasure to study because the quality of lectures was really high and all the professors I met here were so interesting and highly educated persons, that three hours of listening to lectures, every time elapsed so fast. I am so glad that studies here were not easy, as we expecting from Erasmus, but it was really interesting and challenging.

I am so thankful for everything, what I experienced here, I want to say THANKS for all the help I got when I was opening the doors of international office and especially for Rebeka because she can solve every problem of international students in few minutes with her big smile and positivity.

I really wish to come back to Maribor one day and feel all of those emotions I felt in 5 month.

Despite the fact that my mobility is not compulsory part of my studies, I decided that I will use the benefits of the Erasmus Plus program. I chose Maribor because it is a little town with lots of opportunities to spend time and because of the information that the University of Maribor is one of the best in Slovenia. It was the right choice. Approach of teachers and the form of the study were at a very high level. The advantage was that the university provided us with a wide range of subjects from which we could choose and most of them were international in character, which is a great advantage in my studies. The main motivation for studying abroad was to improve the English language, learn about another country and get to know new people. At the end of my erasmus, I can say that I did it and even more. Slovenia is so beautiful that I still think about the possibility of moving and living here. Unbelievable nature, beautiful mountains, clean sea, peace, still smiling people and student coupons. That is Slovenia.
